This British era cemetery houses the graves of hundreds of residents from the colonial era. Close to the entrance is the grave of Brig John Nicholson, who dies in 1857 while retaking Delhi during the First War Of Independence (or Sepoy Mutiny, whatever you wish to call it). While Nicholson’s grave is fenced off and well maintained, most of the cemetery has been overrun by dense undergrowth, though I understand conservation work in now beginning
