Qudsia Mosque, built in 1748, was part of the magnificent palace and garden of Qudsia Begum (wife of the Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah). The British destroyed the palace during the war of 1857; this mosque is one of the structures that remain. Encroachers now live here (look closely at the right side of the photograph)
