Tofewala Gumbad ('gift dome') is one of the handful of structures remaining in Alaud-Din Khilji's Siri (the 'second' city of medieval Delhi). It has the appearance of a tomb, but in reality is a mosque. The structure that remains is the central chamber of the main prayer hall. We do not know how it got it's name. It was built in the early 14th century
